Terms of Service

Effective September 17, 2026 · Last updated September 17, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or purchasing from us.

Overview

This website and store are operated by A&J Elite Greek Store. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms "A&J," "A & J," "we," "us," and "our" refer to A&J Elite Greek Store and, where applicable, its legal owner or operating entity. "You" and "your" refer to each visitor, customer, purchaser, account holder, gift recipient, or other user of our website, retail services, communications, and related offerings. The website, products, features, information, and services we provide are collectively referred to as the "Service."

By visiting our website, creating an account, submitting information, purchasing from us, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping and Fulfillment Policy, and Return and Store Credit Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform through which we offer products and services. Your use of Shopify features, Shop Pay, payment services, or other third-party services may also be governed by the applicable provider's terms and privacy notices.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service. New website features, products, and services will also be subject to these Terms unless we expressly state otherwise. We may update these Terms as described in Section 16.

Section 1 — Online Store Terms

You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or that you are using the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the Service or our products for an illegal or unauthorized purpose, violate applicable law, transmit malicious code, interfere with website security, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.

You may purchase organization-related merchandise for yourself or as a gift. Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, a purchase does not establish, verify, or represent that the purchaser or recipient is a member of, or affiliated with, any fraternity, sorority, college, university, or other organization. Certain merchandise may be subject to membership verification, licensing restrictions, purchase limits, or other requirements disclosed on the product page or before checkout.

A material violation of these Terms may result in cancellation of an order, suspension of an account, refusal of future transactions, or termination of access to the Service, subject to applicable law.

Section 2 — General Conditions

We may refuse or limit service, cancel transactions, or restrict access for lawful reasons, including suspected fraud, abusive conduct, policy violations, security concerns, inventory limitations, pricing errors, unauthorized resale, or legal or licensing restrictions. We will not unlawfully discriminate in providing service.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, exploit, frame, mirror, scrape, or commercially use any portion of the Service, website access, product presentation, or contact channel without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

Electronic communications are part of the Service. You consent to receive transaction-related communications electronically, including order confirmations, receipts, shipping updates, policy notices, and responses to customer-service requests. Marketing communications are subject to the choices and opt-out methods described in our Privacy Policy and the communication itself.

Section headings are for convenience and do not limit the meaning of these Terms.

Section 3 — Information, Product Descriptions, Pricing, and Availability

We work to present our products, prices, colors, dimensions, materials, features, and availability accurately. However, photographs, lighting, screen settings, production variations, handcrafted details, garment-dye lots, and device displays may cause reasonable differences in color or appearance. Measurements and descriptions may be approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.

Prices, promotions, product descriptions, availability, and assortments may change without notice before an order is accepted. We may correct typographical, photographic, pricing, inventory, shipping, or other errors and may update information or cancel an affected order, including after submission. If we cancel an order because of our error or inability to fulfill it, we will provide the remedy described in our applicable store policy.

Products may be offered in limited quantities, exclusively online, exclusively in store, by preorder, or for a limited time. Placing an item in a cart does not reserve it. An offer is void where prohibited.

We may use comparable blanks, components, packaging, or production methods when a listing permits substitutions and the change does not make the item totally different from what was ordered. Any substitution that materially affects the promised product will be handled according to the applicable product listing and store policy.

Section 4 — Orders, Billing, and Payment

Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean we accepted it. We may verify payment, billing, shipping, inventory, identity, fraud indicators, licensing restrictions, and order details before accepting or fulfilling an order.

We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household, account, payment method, billing address, shipping address, promotion, or order. We may also limit or prohibit orders that appear to involve unauthorized resale, fraud, chargeback abuse, payment misuse, automated purchasing, or circumvention of product limits. If we modify or cancel an order, we may contact you using the information provided at checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account, billing, payment, email, telephone, and delivery information. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the amounts displayed at checkout, including applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other disclosed fees. Payment authorization does not guarantee order acceptance.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly at ajelitegreekstore@gmail.com so we can review the matter. This request does not limit any rights available through your card issuer or applicable law, but it may allow us to resolve an error before a formal dispute is initiated.

Section 5 — Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup

Shipping, fulfillment, processing, delivery, and pickup are governed by our Shipping and Fulfillment Policy and any additional terms shown on the product page or at checkout. Processing time and carrier transit time are separate. Unless we expressly promise a guaranteed delivery date, delivery dates are good-faith estimates rather than guarantees.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate deliverable address. If an order is returned, delayed, lost, or misdelivered because the address supplied was incomplete or inaccurate, additional shipping charges or other conditions may apply as stated in our Shipping and Fulfillment Policy.

Risk of loss and title pass as provided by applicable law and the shipping terms disclosed for the order. Carrier scans, delivery confirmation, signature records, photographs, pickup records, and other fulfillment documentation may be used to confirm delivery or receipt.

Preorders, made-to-order items, custom items, special orders, backorders, and event-related merchandise may require additional processing time. The applicable estimate or expected availability will be disclosed with the offer when reasonably available.

Section 6 — Returns, Store Credit, and Order Problems

Purchases are subject to our Return and Store Credit Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. A&J generally issues store credit for approved eligible returns and does not provide monetary refunds. A monetary refund may be issued only when A & J is responsible for the error, as specifically described in that Policy.

Eligibility may depend on the product category, condition, use, tags, packaging, timing, proof of purchase, and reason for the request. Items identified as final sale, personalized, custom, special order, clearance, intimate, hygiene-sensitive, altered, worn, damaged after delivery, or otherwise excluded are not eligible except as expressly stated in the Policy or required by nonwaivable law.

Customers must inspect orders promptly and follow the reporting procedure and time limits in our applicable policy for an incorrect, damaged, defective, missing, or incomplete item. We may request photographs, packaging, delivery information, or other reasonable documentation to evaluate a claim.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates a remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. Our policies are intended to explain our ordinary business practices and should be read together with any rights provided by applicable law.

Section 7 — Pre-orders, Custom Orders, and Special Orders

A preorder reserves an item expected to become available later; it is not an assurance that production, licensing, supply, or delivery will occur by a particular date unless we expressly provide a guarantee. A custom or special order is produced, personalized, sourced, or reserved for the customer according to the disclosed specifications.

Before placing the order, you are responsible for reviewing product names, initials, dates, sizes, colors, organization identifiers, shipping details, and other selections. We may rely on the information you submit. Once production, personalization, or special sourcing begins, changes, cancellations, returns, exchanges, or store credit may be restricted as stated in the product listing and Return and Store Credit Policy.

If circumstances outside our reasonable control affect availability or timing, we will communicate available options consistent with the applicable listing, policy, and law.

Section 8 — Optional Tools, Third-Party Services, and Links

The Service may provide access to tools or services supplied by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, Shop Pay, installment-payment providers, review platforms, analytics services, social-media services, mapping tools, shipping carriers, and communication providers. We do not control every third-party service and make it available on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's terms, privacy notice, eligibility rules, fees, and dispute procedures. Review them before using the service. We are not responsible for a third party's independent acts, content, security, availability, or policies, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement. Questions or claims concerning a third party's separate product or service should generally be directed to that provider.

Section 9 — Reviews, Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions

If you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, comment, suggestion, contest entry, or other content ("Submission"), you represent that it is truthful, based on your genuine experience where applicable, and that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it. You may not submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, threatening, harassing, obscene, privacy-invasive, malicious, or materially unrelated to the product or Service.

You retain ownership of your Submission. By submitting it to us or tagging us in a manner that reasonably invites resharing, you grant A&J a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and use the Submission in connection with operating and promoting our business, subject to applicable law and any specific permission request we provide. This license does not authorize us to falsely attribute statements to you or materially misrepresent your experience.

We may moderate or remove content for lawful reasons, but we do not promise to review every Submission. We will not knowingly condition an incentive on a positive review, suppress an honest review merely because it is negative, or present a compensated or connected endorsement as independent when disclosure is required.

Do not send confidential business information, third-party personal information, or unsolicited proprietary ideas that you expect us to keep confidential unless we have agreed in writing to receive them on that basis.

Section 10 — Intellectual Property and Licensed Merchandise

The website design, arrangement, original photographs, graphics, text, product descriptions, logos, trade names, videos, and other content created or owned by A&J are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. Except for personal, noncommercial shopping use or another use allowed by law, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit that content without prior written permission.

Names, crests, Greek letters, seals, emblems, logos, colors, and other indicia associated with fraternities, sororities, colleges, universities, and other organizations belong to their respective owners. A&J's authorization to offer licensed merchandise does not transfer ownership or license rights to the customer beyond ordinary lawful ownership and personal use of the purchased item.

You may not use our Service to request, upload, or submit artwork, text, names, marks, or other material that infringes another person's rights. We may decline or cancel a customization request that raises licensing, authorization, safety, or legal concerns.

Section 11 — Privacy, Security, and Prohibited Uses

Our collection and handling of Personal Information are described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You may not use the Service to:

  • engage in unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized activity;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
  • submit false account, order, payment, delivery, review, or identity information;
  • introduce malicious code or interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Service;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, collect, or track information except through lawful, authorized means;
  • circumvent purchase limits, access controls, membership-verification requirements, or security features;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a person or organization;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, defame, discriminate against, or harm another person; or
  • use the Service for unauthorized resale, spam, phishing, pretexting, or other conduct that may harm A & J, our customers, licensors, service providers, or others.

We may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant records, cooperate with lawful requests, and take proportionate action, including restricting access or canceling affected transactions.

Section 12 — Disclaimers, Warranties, and Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that every defect will be corrected. Website information and availability may change. Your use of the website is at your own risk.

Except for promises expressly made in a product description, store policy, or written warranty, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and Service are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. This disclaimer does not apply where or to the extent the law does not permit it, and it does not eliminate obligations created by an express written warranty.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A & J and its owners, officers, directors, personnel, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or replacement costs, arising from or related to the Service or a product, even if advised that such damages are possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A&J's aggregate liability arising from or related to a transaction will not exceed the amount paid to A&J for the product or order giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including any liability preserved by applicable consumer-protection or product-liability law.

Section 13 — Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

Section 14 — Indemnification and Severability

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless A&J and its owners, officers, directors, personnel, affiliates, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your material breach of these Terms, your unlawful misuse of the Service, your infringement of another person's rights, or content you submit. This obligation does not require you to indemnify a party for its own unlawful conduct, gross negligence, or willful misconduct where such an exclusion is not permitted.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is held unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Section 15 — Termination, Entire Agreement, and Waiver

Termination

These Terms remain effective while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, cancel an affected transaction, or take other lawful action if we reasonably believe you materially violated these Terms, misused the Service, created a security or fraud risk, or engaged in unlawful conduct. Rights and obligations that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations, indemnification, and governing law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and the policies and product-specific terms incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement between you and A & J concerning the Service and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications on the same subject. If a product listing or checkout disclosure conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term controls for that transaction unless prohibited by law.

No Waiver

A failure to exercise or enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific circumstance stated.

Section 16 — Changes to These Terms and Contact Information

Changes to These Terms

You may review the current version of these Terms on our website. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our operations, products, technology, policies, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last Updated" date. When changes are material, we may provide additional notice as appropriate. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
